I've been working at The Vaudeville Mews for the past eight years and the last few have been some of the brightest due to the big bear himself, TJ Wood. He's the backbone of the place, of Des Moines. He's made it a true pleasure for me with our winter chats, him feeding me knowledge on whiskey, cigarettes, pretty much things a man needs to know. I'm leaving downtown just cuz he won't be around.
